**Research Officer (Paediatric Asthma Program)**
- **Employment Type**:Part - time (14 hours a week/2 days)
- **Duration**:Fixed Term contract until 30 June 2026 (possible extension, funding dependant)
- **Remuneration**: $100k - $107k base prorated (+ 17% Super, leave loading)
- **Visa**: Full Australian working rights will be required for the duration of the contract
- **Location**:The Bright Alliance Building, Level 8, Corner of Avoca and High Street, Randwick, NSW.

**Why this role matters**:
We are looking for a passionate Research Officer to support the other members of our team, working across asthma program of work within the National Paediatric Applied Research Translation Initiative (N-PARTI).

**Key skills required**:

- A university master’s degree in public health, health services research, medical humanities or related discipline, or undergraduate degree with relevant experience.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and diplomacy skills, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including spreadsheets, database programs, statistics and word processing.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and work productively as part of a team.
- Some experience or understanding of qualitative health or mixed methods research.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal communication skills to initiate and maintain effective stakeholder relationships whilst exercising discretion and confidentiality.
