We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic **Assistant Director (2IC)** to join our close-knit team in **Eastwood, NSW.**

**About the Position**:
**As an Assistant Director, you will work alongside the Centre Director to ensure the effective management of the centre. Your core responsibilities will include the following**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre
- Lead, motivate and support the team
- Maintain a high-quality and performing centre
- A continuous increase in occupancy and maintaining a strong reputation across the community
- Ensure the Centre is compliant and exceeds all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children.

**What we are looking for**
- A completed Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Current/Valid Working With Children's Check (WWC) and First Aid Certificates
- Previous working experience as a 2IC preferred
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
