This ministry is underpinned by the operation of Conference and Recreation Centres at Galston and Lake Macquarie where students and campers can enjoy a fantastic camp experience while at the same time growing in their faith._

Based at our Eastwood Office, we have a wonderful opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join the Communications Team to make a difference to CRU’s ministry. You will have lots of variety and the opportunity to be involved in various tasks.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Marketing Assistant will support the Associate Communications Director with the implementation of marketing projects and plans aimed at driving brand awareness, appeal and growth:

- Progress agreed on marketing activities that meet or exceed organisational growth targets and business plan goals for CRU brands & divisions including CRU Educational Camps, CRU Holiday Camps, CRU Lake Mac, CRU Galston Gorge and Schools Ministry.
- Project manage tactical promotional plans (including briefing, design, development, sign-offs, production and distribution) on time and within budget, with effective use of team project management tool (Click-Up/Asana).
- Development & implementation of social media good news stories across various CRU brands to drive brand awareness and loyalty.
- Manage quotes and communication on selected projects in conjunction with any external suppliers and freelancers.
- Processing of invoices, tracking of actuals and estimates and recording in monthly P&L.
- Writing proposal, plans post analysis and reporting in conjunction with Associate Communications Director.

**ESSENTIAL POSITION CRITERIA**:

- Strong and growing personal faith, evidenced by godly character, church and ministry involvement
- A passion for evangelism, especially for children and youth
- Ability to work independently and in consultation with key people within CRU
- Computer literacy and experience with the Microsoft Office suite along with the confidence to learn other programs
- Full agreement with CRU’s Basis of Belief and its practical outworkings
- A current driver’s license
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain one)
