Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria (RBGV) employs over 240 staff overseeing two beautiful world-class gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne. The organisation fosters an understanding and appreciation for plants and the natural world through arts and culture and education programs, world-leading scientific research, plant conservation programs, and promotes health and wellbeing in nature.

In addition to this the Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and documenting project meetings as well as coordinating contractors and collaborators. They will also be required to prepare creative briefs and background material for a range of stakeholders.

While workplace flexibility is supported, the successful applicant will be required to be onsite to deliver projects that are in roll out/implementation stage. This role is primarily based at Melbourne Gardens, but the team delivers projects at both Cranbourne and Melbourne Gardens and the ability to work at both sites is essential.

To be successful in this role you will have a relevant industry or tertiary qualification or demonstrated relevant experience. You will bring your strong project coordination and administrative skills as well as attention to detail and multitasking experience to work across multiple projects at once. You will have confidence working with digital technologies and a general understanding of digital production processes for projects such as audio experiences.

You will bring a sound understanding and appreciation of how storytelling, science, media, arts, place and participation align to generate innovative, impactful and exceptional visitor experiences while considering the impact of cultural/social issues.
