**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Engagement Coordinator to work within the Office of the Provost to create engaging, relevant, consistent, and integrated communications to support the successful implementation of the Advancing Students and Education (ASE) Strategy at the University of Melbourne. Working with diverse stakeholders, you will develop and execute coordinated communication and engagement strategies to enable whole-of-institution change.
- The ASE Strategy articulates our vision to build, nurture and strengthen a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive scholarly community that empowers our students to thrive, supported by excellent teaching and student services over a seven-year program of work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the delivery of an integrated change and communication plan for the ASE Strategy.
- Creating and curating engaging content to inform stakeholders about current priorities, milestones, deliverables, and achievements across various channels to support change and communication efforts.
- Supporting the development and implementation of change and communication strategies for promoting awareness, engagement, and advocacy of the ASE Strategy and its projects, in collaboration with program leads.

You enjoy collaborating and forging relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executives, and are able to anticipate their needs. Your creative thinking, problem-solving prowess, and project management skills enable you to organise, prioritise, and efficiently handle a blend of immediate and long-term tasks.
You will also have:
- Bachelor's degree with relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialised or broad communications knowledge; or equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
- Proven expertise in leveraging communication for driving organisational change, including designing and executing communication plans to inspire, influence, and involve internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt across various purposes, target audiences, communication channels, and styles, while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving business challenges and guiding decision-making including the ability to critically evaluate information; think creatively and mitigate resistance.
