**About Our Client**:
Michael Page has been engaged by a rapidly growing Accountancy Practice, providing a broad range of services to clients including business advisory, start-up services, Bookkeeping, Payroll and more

The business adopts a friendly and high-quality personalised approach, which has enabled them to acquire a strong client base. Clients for the business range from start-up through to multi-state professional services organisations.

Working alongside two other staff members, this position will be the main point of contact within the business for the bookkeeping services provided to clients, utilising Xero as the Accounting software. On a daily basis, this will involve managing:

- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll processing, including STP, PAYG, and superannuation reconciliations.
- Monthly/quarterly reporting.
- Assisting in the preparation of BAS/IAS.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Bookkeeping/Accounting qualification or keen to commence studies (Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or higher)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles including debits and credits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Clear and refined communication skills both verbally and written

**What's on Offer**:
On offer is permanent part-time role, with the ability to work on a very flexible schedule. Ideally, you will be able to work 15-20 hours per week across 4-5 days, with attendance in the office only required once per week/fortnight for team meetings.

Working underneath a CPA qualified Accountant with a strong practice and commercial background, you will receive training and guidance to support development in the role.

There is salary of circa $70,000 + Superannuation (Pro-Rata) on offer for this position
