Reporting to the Head of Risk Customer & Corporate Services (CCS) and Divisional Risk, you will act as primary point of contact and risk partner to the General Manager Customer Solutions to provide end to end risk advice, oversight and challenge to their areas of responsibility.

The role ensures that the Risk Management Framework and key supporting policies are effectively embedded and monitored including risk profiles, emerging risks, risk culture and maturity assessments, scenario analysis, control design & assessment and issue & incident management.

You will provide 2nd line independent cross risk class advice and oversight of business strategy, risk appetite material risks, controls, incidents, issues, and change initiatives including rectification and remediation of material incidents.

And support inquiries and investigations by regulators in conjunction with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs.

Key Accountabilities:

- Member of the CCS & Divisional Risk Leadership Team.
- 2nd line member of the Customer Solutions extended leadership team.
- Accountable for 2nd line Risk reporting and attends the relevant Risk Forums, Steer Cos and other key governance forums.
- Advice, oversight and challenge of Customer Solutions controls, incidents and issues as they relate to the relevant value chains.
- Works with risk class owners including Compliance and Financial Crime to provide coordinated risk advice, oversight and challenge.
- Escalation of material matters to the CRO Consumer & CCS and Head of Risk CCS & Divisional NFR team.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this position you will require considerable experience and advanced knowledge of operational risk and frameworks. You’ll have advanced leadership experience and will have had experience in undertaking 2nd Line of Defence advice, oversight and challenge.
You’ll be used to partnering with senior stakeholders and have an understanding of the customer solutions and collections businesses.
