A well-established Managed IT Service Provider located in Sydney, supporting a range of diverse clients. With our client-base growing rapidly, we are growing our team across **Newcastle** (NSW), **Gold Coast** (QLD) and **Melbourne **(VIC) to facilitate the increasing demand for locally-based engineers. **The IT Service Technician (Level 2) Role**:
The business requires a switched on, dynamic team player and technology genius to work alongside the technical and project teams based in Sydney to provide high quality technical support both remotely and face to face with our customers. The role responsibilities include:
- Represent the business in developing strong client relationships and fostering client growth
- Perform onsite troubleshooting, fault resolution, installations, upgrades and IT projects
- Provide remote support to customers
- Scheduled onsite visits to provide preventative maintenance to customers
- Engage with third party vendors to resolve issues that require vendor escalation
- Assemble and configure server and networking components for onsite implementation
- Provide remote after-hours support on a rotating roster
**What We Are Looking For?**
- A technician with previous experience in a similar role that takes pride in their work and ownership of their client’s and responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people in a warm, friendly, and helpful manner

- Comprehensive experience working with and troubleshooting end-user workstation environments and Microsoft Office 365
- Complete experience working with and troubleshooting Windows Server environments
- Experience configuring devices using Apple iOS and Android mobile platforms
- Experience managing Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and cloud services such as Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and related platforms
- Experience using virtualisation technologies as well as fundamentals in management of VMWare (or Hyper-V) virtual environments
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting backup and anti-virus technologies
- Experience managing networks, network hardware, networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Routing, DNS, VLANs) and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of networking issues
- Experience troubleshooting and deploying next generation firewalls
- Experience troubleshooting wireless systems including end-user devices, access-points & wireless controllers
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certification(s) or equivalent(s)
- A current Australian driver's license
