**About the Role**:
As a workforce development and Social inclusion advisor you will provide strategic and operational support in the implementation of the Workforce Development and Social Inclusion Plan and ensure effective implementation of initiatives to deliver outcomes, including workforce skills development, inspiring future talent, and increasing workforce diversity and inclusion.

This is a key role to work with John Holland on the billion-dollar joint venture project: Eastern Tunnelling Package with CPB Contractors and Ghella.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Engage with multiple community and stakeholder groups to meet Workforce development and social inclusion requirements for Project and Subcontractor workforces
- Implement training programs that contribute to skills development in areas of critical skills shortage
- Work closely with Contracts Manager to ensure targets are met for engagement of small and medium enterprises, aboriginal businesses, social enterprises, and disability enterprises in the supply chain
- Proactively engage with subcontractors on requirements relating to Workforce Development and Social Inclusion
- Ensure participation in Sydney Metro Pre-employment programs in accordance with Sydney Metro Workforce Development Program Toolkit
- Implement workforce diversity & inclusion initiatives to achieve agreed targets
