**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting through to the Senior Manager People, as People & Culture Generalist you will be responsible for providing exceptional generalist HR and customer service, with a focus on people and continual improvement to achieve great outcomes for internal clients.

**KEY RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Interpret employment legislation, enterprise agreements/awards and organisational policies and procedures;
- Provide comprehensive, strategic and best practice HR advice, support and coaching to staff and management;
- Collaborate with management and actively support change management processes through best practice HR strategies and advice;
- Actively develop, maintain and manage effective working relationships with stakeholders;
- Oversee HR Policy and Procedure and prioritise support, understanding, communication and implementation of them;
- Understand and interpret industrial instruments;
- Provide proactive management of all employee injuries and workers compensation claims;
- Develop and coordinate employee engagement and experience strategies and initiatives;
- Lead employee relations management, advise on mitigation strategies, resolve disputes, & conduct investigations.

**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Possess Bachelor degree in Human Resources or similar with at least 2 years experience in a HR Generalist position;
- Proven experience in high volume, end-to-end people management;
- Be able to multi-task, and build strong relationships;
- Understanding of the legislative requirements relating to employment including the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Award interpretation;
- Experience with management of ER issues;
- Excellent Office Suite experience, including Excel, Teams and Word;
- Experience with change management, coaching and mentoring;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong time management;
- Be able to obtain or possess a NDIS worker check and police check.
