An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled People & Culture Advisor to join a dynamic and supportive team in the education sector. This hands-on role will see you working across both advisory and systems functions, providing high-quality HR support to the business as well as collating workforce reports.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide first-level HR and employee relations advice aligned with policies, legislation and awards
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities including recruitment, onboarding, changes, and offboarding
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment to deliver a seamless experience for candidates and managers
  • Support the HRIS (Aurion) and other P&C systems, ensuring data accuracy and generating workforce reports
  • Contribute to HR projects and process improvements that enhance the employee experience
  • Provide support around employee performance management
  • Collaborate closely with Payroll and HR colleagues to deliver consistent, compliant practices

We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who demonstrate the following:

  • Foundational HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle
  • A relevant qualification in HR, Psychology or Business.
  • Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation, awards, and agreements
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience using HR systems for reporting, data management, and process workflows
  • 2-4 years experience gained in a similar role
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify improvements and deliver solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships
