
Contract Assurance Officer

- **Duration**: 5 month contract (potential for extension)
The Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) plays a significant role in meeting the needs of eligible students with disability by providing free specialised transport to and from school where parents and carers are unable to provide or arrange transport to the student either fully or in part.
**Primary purpose of the role**
The ASTP Contract Assurance Officer is responsible for administering the ASTP contract performance process according to the Programs contract management framework. The role tracks and monitors performance measures to ensure outcomes, KPIs and compliance requirements are met. The role forms part of a broader team that provides an efficient, effective and safe transport service to students with disability for government and non-government schools across New South Wales. Working in different teams at different times may be required to ensure objectives are met across the range of ASTP responsibilities.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Perform a range of customer services to support the operational functioning of the Assisted School Travel Program and this may include responding to general enquiries by providing accurate information, as necessary, in
a confidential, responsive, customer-focused manner.

- Provide a range of administrative, keyboard and clerical support services such as filing, records management, receipt and sorting of electronic and other mail, maintenance of official registers and documents to support the operational functioning of the assigned business unit.
- Perform a range of duties relevant to the operations of the business unit such as transport run creation, data processing, checking and extracting data for reporting purposes and record creation and archiving in accordance with agreed operating procedures and protocols.
- Maintain records in both electronic (HPRM8) and hard copy forms in accordance with Departmental policy.
- Prepare a range of documents, briefings and reports to meet internal and external requirements
