With more than 70 years' of experience in the building and home improvement markets, Stratco has become one of Australia’s largest manufacturers, marketers and retailers of quality building and home improvement products in Australia and is actively pursuing a place on the world stage. Stratco now has state of the art manufacturing facilities in all mainland states of Australia along with a network of home improvement stores throughout the country. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the successful planning and execution of store openings and remodels across the country, ensuring a seamless and impactful rollout program.
If you have worked within commercial or retail development/fit out, looking to take a major role in owning the entire planning process for new store openings and remodeling projects, ensuring each is executed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard, then this is the opportunity you've been looking for.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Work closely with the National Retail Manager, National Category Controller, Real Estate Agents and other stakeholders to secure locations for new stores or relocations.
- Develop and manage budgets for construction, design and other associated store development related expenses.
- Ensure brand consistency - aligning store designs with Stratco branding and standards, maintaining consistency across all locations.
- Select and manage third party vendors, contractors and graphic designers.
- Work closely with state retail management teams and store managers to ensure the store is operationally ready before opening.
- Collaborate with marketing for store launches, ensuring grand openings are supported by strong marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with IT to ensure all relevant technology systems (POS, security, networking) are installed and functional before launch.
**About you**:
For this key opportunity, we are targeting an individual with proven experience in planning and executing store/office openings and remodels, ideally in a national or multi-location retail environment. Additionally, an individual that can demonstrate:
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- A passion for store development, along with a high level of financial/commercial acumen.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure that every store opening and remodel meets our high standards and is aligned with the Stratco brand.
