Join our team with room to grow in the business and industry. This is your chance to work at the top end of the landscape gardening industry in some of Melbourne's finest gardens. Working in all areas of Melbourne with a large focus on the north east.

The scope of work includes soft scape projects, garden maintenance, large scale property maintenance and small scale landscape projects.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Soil testing to assess plant/tree requirements
- Irrigation system installation and repairs
- Seasonal garden planning and design
- Fine detailing and finishing of gardens
- Treatment and management of pests and disease
- Mowing (ride on and push) and edging lawns
- Pruning, planting, mulching
- Soft scaping skills
- Turf installation
- Basic hard scaping skills
- Annual garden planning
- Weeding
- Hedging and topiary skills
- Preparing gardens for auction
- Large scale property maintenance

What we are looking for in a team member.
- Have certificate III in horticulture or a minimum of 5 years gardening experience
- Good plant identification knowledge
- Hold a current Victorian drivers license and be able to travel to jobs
- Own own vehicle
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to client relations
- Be physically fit and able to work hard days when required
- Have the ability to lift a lawn mower onto a ute if required
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic approach to their work
- Able to work at a fast pace and keep to timeframes
- Be reliable and honest
- Enjoy working both independently and in a team
- Hold the client in high regard, with fastidious attention to detail
- Have a desire to grow within a fast paced and exciting company
- Be able to both give direction and receive it
- Available 7:15am - 4pm Monday - Friday with the occasional Saturday half day shift
- The ability to obtain and working with children check

**Salary**: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Horticulture: 3 years (preferred)

- Australia (required)
