What you will be doing
- Provide advanced system administration services and advice to external and internal customers within agreed client service levels whilst helping maintain CITEC business viability and cost competitiveness. Lead and guide improvements and risk management by understanding customer business drivers and assist in the reporting, assessment, analysis and recommendations for customer infrastructure environments. Assist in responding to tenders and opportunities and present solutions and proposals to potential customers. Provide product presentation demonstrations to enhance CITEC's Cloud offerings and present solutions to meet the customer's needs through workshops and other activities. Be the lead technician on projects undertaken by the team, including the on-boarding of customers, new architecture solutions research into the applicability of new and emerging technologies, and developing cloud cost models and product collateral to help ensure CITECs objectives are met. Mentor a team of technical specialists in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement in management infrastructure, tools and procedures, and participate in agreed improvement activities and risk treatment strategies
