The role In the realm of mental health services, the need to ensure not only the provision of care, but also to improve its quality through the active involvement of consumers and carers is paramount. Recognising the importance of feedback in shaping the landscape of mental health care, the Mental Health Experience Surveys (MHES) program has been established as a cornerstone of effective governance within the delivery of mental health services.
Reporting to the Manager, Systems and Collections you will plan, lead, and oversee the systematic collection and measurement of consumer and carer experience through standardised surveys. As well as providing a rich source of data for local quality improvement initiatives, the MHES program facilitates national benchmarking.
You will also manage and lead the review and evaluation of data sources, collection and processing methods to ensure their integrity and effectiveness.
The successful personTo be successful in this role you will have a broad understanding and experience in managing data collections, including sourcing of data to meet user and provider needs. You will also have the ability to identify and analyse problems, develop, and implement remedial strategies, and take initiative and responsibility.
In addition to this, you will also have proven influencing, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build productive working relationships and networks.
