**About our opportunity**

We have **four permanent part-time opportunities** available at our Environmental Centres located in Burpengary and Griffin

In these roles, you will be the first point of contact to our visitors, community groups and the general public, providing a high level of customer service as well as promoting environmental awareness and conservation.

As an Environmental Centre Officer, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre. You will be responsible for coordinating various activities including educational displays, tours, and workshops. Additionally, you will provide guidance, support, and training to a team of volunteers, helping them contribute to the overall operations of the centre.

**Caboolture Region Environmental Education Centre (CREEC) **is located in **Burpengary **on a busy 18-hectare site which includes a café, playground, community nursery and remnant rainforest. We have two part-time opportunities at this location and anticipate the roster for these roles will include working Tuesday to Friday from 8:30am - 3:15pm. Click here to find out more about CREEC

Our popular **Osprey House Environmental Centre** is located in **Griffin** along the mangroves of the Pine River. We have two part-time opportunities at this location and anticipate the roster for these roles will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday OR Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:45am - 3:15pm. **About you**

We are looking for team members who are passionate about providing an exceptional service to customers Your passion for providing exceptional experiences to customers will be highly valued in these roles.

Bringing your experience in environmental management, you will contribute to various aspects of volunteer management, including recruitment, engagement, training, and coordination.

You will have well-developed organisational and time management skills to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities within the centre. You will be able to utilise well developed communication skills to disseminate environmental messages to visitors of various ages and backgrounds.

The successful applicant will be available to work any 5 out of 7 days as part of their regular working hours and will hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid certificate.
