As a trusted, values-driven Australian family business, we are now seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to lead operations at our Burpengary clinic.

About the Role:

This full-time role (approx. 38 hours/week) is pivotal to ensuring the smooth, efficient, and high-quality running of our medical centre. You'll play a leadership role in managing people, systems, and service delivery while helping grow the clinic as a trusted health hub in the community.

Key Responsibilities


• Day-to-day management of clinic operations and staff


• Coordinating doctors' schedules, nursing support, and reception workflows


• Financial oversight, including billing, banking, and monthly reporting


• Staff rostering, recruitment, and performance leadership


• Managing quality improvement initiatives and accreditation readiness


• Ensuring compliance with RACGP, workplace health and safety, and privacy standards


• Representing the clinic professionally as its public-facing leader

About You

We are seeking a confident, organised, and community-focused leader with:

Essential:


• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar management role (health or medical field preferred)


• Proven team leadership and HR management skills


• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills


• High-level communication (written and verbal)


• Strong problem-solving ability and organisational skills


• Computer literacy, including MS Office

Desirable:


• Experience with Pracsoft, Medical Director, PRODA, HPOS, or Medical Objects


• Familiarity with Medicare billing and healthcare system workflows


• A current driver's licence (for occasional travel and training)

Salary Range:

$70,000 – $90,000 per annum (based on experience)
