In addition to the day-to-day procurement activities, the Procurement Coordinator & Analyst actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology proficiency to implement automation tools and analyse data for informed decision-making. - Customs and Regulatory Compliance: Navigate and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements, especially when procuring from abroad.
- Documenting Procurement Processes: Document and maintain a record of procurement processes, ensuring transparency, accountability and compliance with internal procedures.
- Implementation of Procurement Software: Implement and optimise procurement software and tools, enhancing efficiency and streamlining routine procurement tasks.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse procurement data, track key performance indicators and generate reports for informed decision-making and process improvement.
- Quality Assurance in Procurement: Establish and maintain standards for quality assurance in procurement, ensuring that materials and services meet specified criteria.
- Risk Analysis: Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, safeguarding Hickory from potential disruptions.
- Vendor Performance Evaluation: Evaluate and measure the performance of vendors, ensuring they meet established criteria and standards.
