**Davidson Technology have teamed up with a Victoria Government entity to help them find a new Assets Data/GIS officer.**

This is an initial 3-month day-rate opportunity with views for extension thereafter.

Immediate start ideal but will work within notice period constraints as needed.

**Position Objective**:

- Manage Infrastructure data (spatial and assets) ensuring it is consistent with requirements, and complete/updated into the organisations asset management system - Oracle (WACS)
- Manage Orgs GIS system in relation to infrastructure assets data.
- Support the Coordinator Asset Management in the on-going Management of the organisations asset management function.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage the assets interaction with the orgs system in accordance with the asset data model and recommend enhancements/improvements to meet change in relation to assets data
- Provide the finance department with all revenant assets data to allow financial registration of assets
- Manager the GIS including spatial and non-spatial data in accordance with the requirements of provision of the digital data.
- Work closely with the assets system administrator to support operational teams with data and system requirements, as necessary
- assist in the development of user guide with respect to asset data management
- Respond to infrastructure assets enquires regarding the attribute and spatial components of data collection.
