My client is a growing global software company with Head Quarters in Sydney and is looking to recruit a Head of Data Science to their team.

With an impressive list of household retail brands amongst their key clients, their footprint and offering is expanding across the Data Science and AI domain

Reporting directly to the CTO of the business and with close collaboration with the CEO, you will be part of the senior leadership team with key accountabilities to lead, grow and develop the Data Science function for the business.

**Key accountabilities will include.**
- Partnering with C suite to take the organisations data science capability to the next level
- Leading a growing team of data scientists
- Developing and implementing Data Science and AI solutions for clients
- Identifying opportunities to develop new data products and scalable solutions

**Your background**
- Demonstrated experience in leading a Data Science team and ready to assume a senior leadership role
- A background in demand planning and sales forecasting is essential
- Retail and consulting experience is highly desirable
- Whilst this role will not be" hands on", we are looking at someone with a proven background in a Data Science role to provide thought leadership within this space
