**Financial Risk and Modelling** are part of the Group Risk, our 2nd line of defence. A multi-disciplined unit that oversee and support risk management across Group Treasury and Financial Markets. The team provide expertise on policy direction, independent risk measurement, monitoring and reporting in relation to traded and non-traded market risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty credit risk. As a **Financial Risk Analyst**you’ll make an impact by:

- Playing a key role in monitoring and reporting of risks, predominantly originated or managed by Group Treasury and Financial Markets. This Includes counterparty credit risk, liquidity risk, traded and non-traded market risks, and associated compliance risks.
- Completing assigned business-as-usual activities and taking the opportunity to be involved in various projects, broadening your exposure and further developing your technical skills.
- Providing input on process improvement and automation.
- Being a lifelong learner. You bring a curious mindset, and we’ll help you take your career to the next level with on-the-job training and professional development.

This is a permanent position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 40% of your time per week in the office, increasing to 60% as of July 2025.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
Whether you’re a recent graduate or bring a few years’ experience in the field, we’d love you to have:

- A tertiary qualification in Banking and Finance, Risk Management, or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science
- Demonstrated financial modelling skills
- Solid working knowledge of financial markets concepts and operations
- Experience in process improvement
- Excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled competency across the MS Office suite with a high degree of proficiency in Excel.

While not essential, it would be great if you had:

- Prior experience in market risk, liquidity risk or financial reporting disciplines
