Taking on the role of Receivables Finance Associate in our Barangaroo office, you will use your existing knowledge of basic accounts functions such as receivables, debits and credits, cash allocation and invoicing to transition into something new, in an organisation founded to support Trade globally with a global trade network and product suite which is second to none.
This role will give you a great introduction to commercial banking, with the opportunity to develop into a specialist in this growing area over time, providing receivables finance processing support to the GTRF Services team and cross skilling as your experience grows.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:

- Basic receivables on accounts
- Managing purchase of invoices and Cash allocation
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Draw downs and generation of entries
- Development of HSBC system expertise
- Continually evaluating inherent operational risks in the processes you are responsible for, escalating any concerns
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement through best practice sharing
Requirements
Requirements:

- Basic banking or accounts clerk experience, familiar with accounts terminology and basic processes.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to organise work to meet deadlines.
- A genuine customer service focus, with a desire to learn and flexibility to adapt to changing needs as required.
- Completion of HSC and basic college or TAFE qualification in Accounts, Finance or similar would be an advantage.
