Assetlink Services is seeking an accomplished Security Services Manager to take charge of our security operations at the prestigious Canberra Centre. **Position Overview**:
As a Security Services Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of the security team at Canberra Centre. This role provides a platform for you to make a significant impact, ensuring the safety and well-being of all stakeholders while contributing to the continued success of one of the most iconic destinations in Canberra.

**Your role encompasses**

Leadership Excellence: Inspiring, coaching, and developing a cohesive security team.

Operational Oversight: Ensuring team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing overall performance.

Client Interface: Acting as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests pertaining to security services.

Subject Matter Expertise: Serving as a knowledgeable authority in security matters and technologies.

Stakeholder Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key tenants and local law enforcement.

Emergency Preparedness: Taking a leadership role in emergency situations with a proactive approach.

Administrative Management: Handling rostering, time and attendance for the security team.

Performance Reporting: Providing detailed and insightful reports on incidents and team performance.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Current NSW/ACT Full Security Licence: Demonstrating legal authorization for security management.

Advanced First Aid Qualification (including CPR): Ensuring readiness to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Security Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a leadership capacity within the security domain.

Effective Communication Skills: Confident interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.

CCTV Proficiency: Confidence in handling CCTV software, with specific familiarity in platforms like Milestone.

Ownership Mentality: The ability to take ownership of service delivery and uphold operational standards.

Analytical Capability: Skill in producing high-quality performance reports, demonstrating analytical acumen.

Professional Presentation: Excellent grooming and corporate-appropriate demeanor.

Problem-Solving Aptitude: High-level problem-solving skills to navigate complex security challenges.

Emergency Response Capability: Ability to respond to emergencies with composure and confidence.
