Our client, Perenti seeks to engage a suitably experienced high performing individual for the newly created role of **Assurance Manager - Corporate/Legal & Risk (Governance & Assurance)**.

This role reports to the **Head of Governance & Assurance** and the main purpose of the role is to significantly support building and implementing an effective Assurance Framework across the Perenti Group.

**A key part of this includes day-to-day responsibility for the effective delivery of the Internal Audit Programme.**

**Key Responsibilities in this role**
- Significantly support the development of the three-year rolling internal audit plan, the risk-based annual program of work, and maintaining the internal audit methodology.
- Delivery of impactful internal audits, with a clear focus on stakeholder engagement, commitment to a collaborative approach, and quality outcomes for the business.
- Implementation and oversight of the Perenti Guest Auditor Program.
- Oversight and reporting of Assurance Actions, including those that are open and overdue.
- Overseeing the completion and reporting of the Operational Assurance Process completed at the half-year and year-end.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- 7+ years experience in a similar assurance / internal audit role preferably in Resources /Mining Services/Contracting or Corporate environment
- Demonstrated understanding of Assurance Frameworks and developing internal audit plans and the delivery of audits
- Proven ability to work autonomously when required, but also able to lead and manage teams.
- High level of oral and written communication skills, including a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.
- Experience in engaging with and influencing Senior Leaders and Executives with strong commercial and business acumen
- Ability to influence and have an analytical mindset

**The role will be based at the Perenti office in the Perth CBD.**

**Salary**: $100,580.62 - $167,794.31 per year
