**The opportunity**

Goal Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Officer with demonstrated experience in complex, high value, high risk contracts for a Defence project in Newcastle.
This is a 10 month fixed tenure salary role with potential extension.
In this role, you will provide specialist commercial, procurement and contracting solutions in accordance with Defence requirements.

**About you**
- Current / recent complex commercial procurement experience within the Defence sector.
- Sourcing/tender development and tender evaluation experience.
- Experience in preparing procurement advice and identifying and mitigating procurement risks.
- Contract management experience.
