**About the position**

The City of Gosnells is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Rigid Truck Driver to work as a Waste Collection Operator within the Waste Services Team.

Our Waste Services Team have an opportunity available for a motivated and proactive individual with experience driving heavy rigid trucks to join the team. As one of our Waste Collection operators, you will play a vital role in ensuring a quality waste collection service for the City of Gosnells. You will use your experience operating a range of waste collection trucks to provide friendly and professional customer service to the City's residents and customers.

**What we are looking for**

To be successful, you will need to be able to demonstrate:

- A commitment to safety
- Experience in the safe operation and user maintenance of a variety of specialised waste collection trucks and loaders, to provide an efficient, timely and cost-effective waste collection service.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a close-knit team, exercising initiative and sound judgement.
- Ability to prioritise and monitor personal workload to achieve specified timeframes.

**Essential requirements**
- Current "HR" Class driver's licence
