The **Nursing Manager** is responsible for all operational and financial functions of the Nurseline and Pulse Nursing business units, including people leadership, client engagement and clinical oversight to the on-hired nursing workforce.

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Essential:

- Prior experience leading and managing teams
- Financial knowledge of running a division or business unit
- Management experience in an aged care, acute medicine or emergency health environment
- Current driver’s licence

Desirable:

- Tertiary qualification in a Nursing, Business Management or Project Management discipline
- Understanding of current nursing accreditation and compliance practices
- Ability to travel intra-state weekly

- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet internal & external expectations
- Account management functions with senior and executive level decision makers
- Change leadership skills which create efficiencies and increase productivity
- Demonstrated ability to manage, delegate and prioritise workloads for self and others

**Key Accountabilities**

Managing and Leading Teams
- Lead initiatives which build team capability through coaching and mentoring activities
- Encourage individual and team initiatives which build and inspire the achievement of goals
- Demonstrate a commitment to self-directed learning and participation in training and professional development opportunities
- Create an environment of trust amongst team members which builds engagement
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly other managers
- Providing leadership aligned to the Groups Vision, Purpose and Values

Account Management and Customer Care
- Application of sound account management practices which further develop relationships and business opportunities for revenue and growth
- Formulation of client-centric business activity which respond to market dynamics and trends
- Undertake regular account reviews with clients to map past and future workforce usage requirements
- Ensure effective and efficient on-boarding practices are in place
- Maintain proactive post-placement care practices for the Nurseline and Pulse Nursing on
- hired nurse workforce

Financial Management
- Develop divisional business plans which support the attainment of divisional budgets, high levels of customer satisfaction and low risk to the on-hired nurse workforce
- Provide regular guidance and review of individual consultant desk and/or regional business plans to achieve KPI’s
- Determine and approve commercials arrangements (pay and charge rates) for the divisions
- Provide regular reporting on divisional performance including resourcing & staffing, major tenders, market opportunities, etc
- Alignment to the quality standards as outlined in the Group’s Quality Management System ISO:9001

Clinical Advice and Support
- Provide leadership on clinical matters to ensure a safe work environment for internal staff, and on-hired workers with our host employers
- Ensuring currency with legislative changes to the healthcare sector

Measures of Success
- Financial contributions of division (both GP and revenue targets)
- Team performance and cultural engagement

**Key Relationships**

The Nursing Manager will work closely with:

- Chief Executive Officer
- Local, State and Federal Government stakeholders
- Private sector stakeholders
- Industry Associations and Representative bodies

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
