**About the role**
This is a rare, unique and fantastic opportunity within our business to join a fast growing, hugely successful team

As our new Placement Broker, you will work across the full spectrum of insurance products, risk transfer and placement strategies. This is a market-facing role liaising with both external clients and our internal national broking network.

Reporting to the National Placement Manager, as well as direct access to our MD for Placements, you will:

- Assist with client engagement and advise key stakeholders on pricing and placement strategies.
- Support negotiations with senior underwriters and insurance executives.
- Develop expertise of commercial products and policy wordings for placement strategies.
- Promote placement capability and advisory within the Gallagher business.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be/have:

- Experience within insurance broking and your Tier 1 in insurance broking - a placement background is not essential
- A thorough technical knowledge of lines of insurance, insurance products and associated legislation
- An approachable, outgoing personality, able to build relationships at all levels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
