- Reporting to the Sales and Operations Manager, the Supply and Demand Planner is a critical member of our S&OP team. This role is responsible for balancing all forecasting activities associated with customers and products and in turn creating and ensuring delivery of a supply plan which delivers fulfillment and inventory targets. As a key part of the S&OP team, you will be responsible for the development of the consensus demand plan, inventory replenishment plans and support the resolution of demand and supply issues.- Additionally, this role will draw on exceptional stakeholder relationship skills, in depth analytical skills and be a key contributor to building the effectiveness of the S&OP in DKSH Performance Materials, ANZ. The Supply and Demand Planner initiates the dialogue for our customer demand forecast (normal and abnormal demand) with the business lines.- Key deliverables for the role include:
- Inventory optimization and replenishment, reducing stock out risk
- Maintain purchasing and supply planning parameters for data integrity and operation excellence
- Lead collaborative relationships with commercial, supply chain and customer service teams to drive resolution of issues
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions and drive actions to identify potential supply and demand issues quickly, reduce inventory obsolescence risk
- Use and maintain SAP as the source of truth ensuring data integrity and accuracy of stock management
- Create purchase requisition, ensuring accuracy of all relevant information
- Develop demand forecasts for multiple time horizons and collaborate with Commercial Managers to improve forecast accuracy and to understand normal and abnormal demand drivers
- Prepare and conduct regular planning reviews with Commercial Managers
- Implement improvement processes and reports to reduce inventory, minimise costs and optimize working capital

**About you**
- You have planning experience with sales and operations planning (S&OP) and a flair for consensus building. Your tertiary degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or Purchasing combined with your 5+ years of experience mean that you are well versed in demand drivers, forecast data, evaluation, understanding biases and the importance of cross functional stakeholder management. You have an excellent ability to build depth in internal relationships by gaining credibility quickly and educating others on the business' supply and demand needs. You enjoy building rapport, negotiating, and forming relationships with people at all levels and integrating diverse groups to reach shared goals. You thrive on overcoming challenges and with an agile and flexible approach.#LI-SW1
