**The role**

Providing high-level support to the Research portfolio in a newly created role reporting to the Senior Research Services Manager. A key role in research user engagement and relationship management, which will help position the school as a research partner, with demonstrable societal, business and policy impacts. Proactively tracking, identifying and securing opportunities for external partnerships, and strengthening exisiting partnerships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strong understanding of research, engagement and impact capabilities
- Engage effectively with portfolios across the organisation
- Ability to influence planning for other opportunities
- Nurture long-term partnerships for innovation and impact in policy and practice

**Skills and experience**
- Strong skills in business procurement and client relationship development
- Extensive experience in business development context
- Ability to negotiate and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
