**About the role**

As the Victorian State Linehaul Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end linehaul operations across the state of Victoria, ensuring the smooth transportation of goods from origin to destination. You will manage a team of dedicated linehaul professionals, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive operational excellence through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the Victorian linehaul team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-performance levels.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize linehaul operations, improve efficiency, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, including warehouse operations, customer service, and dispatch, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of goods.
- Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as carriers, suppliers, and customers, to optimize capacity utilization, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings.
- Implement and enforce safety standards, compliance protocols, and industry regulations to guarantee the integrity of temperature-sensitive products throughout the transportation process.
- Monitor and analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in linehaul operations within the cold chain logistics industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of linehaul management and ideally in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Proven track record of effectively managing and leading teams, with strong coaching and development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
