**Role and Responsibilities**

As CAE continues to grow we have an opportunity for an experience Portfolio Manager to join our team in either Sydney or Brisbane.

The Portfolio Manager (AIR) will be responsible for the implementation and execution of our contracts and program with the Department of Defence. Including the ownership of the relationship with the contract delegate and contract authority. This position is also the owner for the delivery of all contracted recurring services, unscheduled contractor tasks and survey & quotes along with full Profit & Loss and associated financial accountability.

**The Role we are offering you**:

- Maintain and support our customers through the achievement of maintenance simulator availability and training session success
- Work as part of the team to achieve configuration changes, management, planning, development and delivery
- Deliver training support services through the provision of qualified instructors and the delivery of training materials and courses
- Manage revenue, costs, margins along with order intake
- Build a “Best of Defence” culture consistent with CAE’s values across your team
- Demonstrated experience in effective management of a multi-million (>$15M) P&L account
- Strong leadership experience, managing professional & technical teams - including remote team management
- Knowledge of the Australian Defence customer training environment
- Proven experience of customer acquisition and sustainment contract policies and practices

**Security requirements**

**_As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance._**
