**Urgent Mooroolbark Support Worker Required Female Preferred**

**Disability Support Workers required for shifts across Mooroolbark all times and days**

**The Role**

The position in Bendigo desires experiences such as:

- Manual Handling (Highly Desired)
- Holts Trained
- Experience with Physical and Mental Health Clients
- Experience with assisting with medication

IDS Support Workers are responsible for supporting clients in their own homes with their day to day living to ensure that they have every opportunity to live a meaningful & fulfilling life, with choice & control. Our Support Workers are:

- Resourceful - Having the ability to find quick and clever ways to overcome difficulties.

The role will provide IDS's Clients with opportunities for choice, self-advocacy and participation in matters relating to the home as well as facilitating access to community services and facilities.

We are searching for excellent Support Workers who feel their values match the IDS Values

License/Certification:

- Certificate III or Higher in; Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Drivers License, your own vehicle and full Comprehensive Insurance

Those with Nurse/Allied Health Students/Experience will be considered in lieu of certificate qualifications.

Please provide two relevant and professional reference checks

- Victorian Driver's License (preferred)
