**Position**: Support Worker
**Location**: MOOROOLBARK Area
**Shift**: 24/7 with Active Nights

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in accordance with their NDIS plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
- Implement strategies to promote independence, community participation, and social inclusion.
- Support clients in accessing various services and activities.
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents.
- Collaborate with the broader team to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services.

**Requirements**:

- Certification: Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Support or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Support Worker.
- Manual Handling: Proficient in manual handling techniques and procedures.
- Medication Administration: Competent in providing medication as prescribed.
- Level 2 Experience: Demonstrated experience working with clients at a Level 2 support needs level or above.
- NDIS Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and relevant policies.
- Empathy and Compassion: Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help individuals with disabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Punctuality and ability to commit to a 24/7 shift roster, including active nights.

**Salary**: $32.00 - $63.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDI screening check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
