**About the Role**:
The Inbound Lead is wholly accountable for the successful operations and management of inbound (receiving), putaways and the MHE team to ensure all receipted stock is moved to its first appropriate location within the day it is received. To do this, the Inbound Lead will have positive and constructive communication with suppliers and transport contractors, and other internal teams.

Through their proactive and critical thinking mindset, the Inbound Lead is accountable for:

- Plan and manage the inbound area to ensure any receipted stock is putaway / decanted in the same day it is received
- Optimising inbound operations through analysis and identification of improvement opportunities
- Effective management and collaboration of the Inbound & Decanting team, including their proactive engagement with the other distribution centre teams
- Ensure a capable and competent team, successfully and safely meeting key performance indicators
- Achievement / demonstration of proactive action to achieve all site key performance metrics, including financial, operational, legislative compliance and safety & wellbeing KPIs

**About you**:

- Experience in a supervisory capacity of a logistics or production facility
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a workforce within a unionised site

Demonstrated understanding of:

- Health and Safety
- Inventory management
- Service standards
- Warehouse Management Systems
- Building high performance teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ideal experience from Pharmacy or FMCG supply chains

**Qualifications**
- Supply chain or Business related qualification preferred
