About the Role

The Head of Commercial Operations (HCO) reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Baptcare and is a member of the Operational Leadership Team. The HCO is responsible for leading the commercial operations of the four business segments (RAC & RL, IHC, FACS and Disability and Housing and Homelessness) this includes managing and controlling all operational and related financial systems and administrative services for Baptcare operations and providing financial information to the Operational GMs and the CFO. As such, the HCO has responsibility for the operations financial and commercial activities.

The nature of this role necessitates an understanding and knowledge of the regulatory funding and reporting regime within the aged care sector. Consequently, this is a pivotal role for the operating businesses which requires an individual who understands not only the technical aspects of the role, but the connective nature of this function and its importance to the good operation and governance at Baptcare.

About You

You are passionate about leading the commercial operations for a growing not-for-profit. Solutions focused and up for making a difference, you align your approach to strategy to achieve organisational and divisional goals. You are a true business partner that instils trust in your stakeholders by demonstrating integrity and accountability.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you collaborate with and support others, demonstrating respect in your day-to-day actions.

**You will ideally bring the following**:
Degree qualified - Commerce, Economics, Business

Qualified Accountant - CA, CPA (desirable)

Previous experience in a Senior Financial and commercial role

Compliance with Company’s Vaccination Policy and Government Health Orders

Experience in NFP and/or community aged care highly regarded.

Experience in a unionised workplace highly regarded.

Willingness to obtain a Police Check through Baptcare.
