**The Role**

The Business Intelligence Lead **brings a huge amount of value** and plays a key role in shaping that value. You will **empower our leaders** across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Customer Success **to make smart decisions** **that drive commercial outcomes**.

You will be responsible for understanding business requirements and turning them into reportable data. You’ll own and evolve the BI Data Models and build a self-serve data environment for stakeholders. You’ll have high-level conversations with stakeholders, understand their reporting needs and implement them, all the way to delivery. You will have one direct report and will enjoy growing and developing the current and future team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Own, design and nurture all aspects of the BI operation
- Manage and evolve the data model of our BI platform (Looker) to provide reliable data and metrics for all fronts of the business
- Have a great understanding of the organisation’s internal systems, processes and the various data sources that feed into the Data Warehouse
- Work closely with the Data Engineering team to help refine schema requirements for new data points in the Data Warehouse
- Function as the owner of the BI Environment - setting parameters around coding standards, QA and release processes, as well as mentoring team members
- Work with stakeholder across the business to help translate needs and gaps into well defined solutions
- Manage the analysts and BI developers on the team, be accountable for the quality of the data models and data services

**Key Skills/Knowledge Required**:

- Previous Business Intelligence experience, experience having direct reports not essential
- Strong SQL experience
- You will have built and evolved data models before
- Strong stakeholder management, be naturally curious and the confidence to influence
