**About the role**:
- Operate and maintain the Water Supply and Wastewater Infrastructure Asset Register, ensuring integration with Council’s corporate systems including GIS, Property, Finance and Asset Management Plans.
- Perform in-depth interrogation, analysis and reporting of water and wastewater asset data to meet both internal and external information requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors and the Water Unit Business Accountant regarding the commissioning and decommissioning of water and wastewater infrastructure assets.
- Support the development and implementation of asset management plans and procedures, particularly those related to asset data collection and maintenance.
- Report directly to the Water Unit Asset Engineer and contribute to strategic planning and performance monitoring of water and wastewater infrastructure.

- **We are seeking**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, and/or significant relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in data extraction, analysis and reporting, ideally within an asset management or infrastructure context.
- Solid understanding of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Assets, including their operation and lifecycle management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both field-based and supervisory staff.
