THE OPPORTUNITY
We have a vacancy for a proactive, responsible and skilled individual who is focused on continuous improvement and compliance, relevant to the delivery of regional facilities management services.
The position will be responsible for providing advice regionally on key HSE processes such as hazard management, incident, injury and claims management, HSE auditing and procedure review, legislative compliance, HSE presentations/training, consultation and issue resolution processes, HSE reporting and health and wellbeing programs.
(Travel throughout Sydney Metro and some regional required.)

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Develop consultation and communication plans to support implementation of projects and programs.
- Maintain effective HSE risk management processes including reviewing and updating HSE related registers such as - hazard registers, risk assessment registers, chemical registers.
- Develop and update HSE communication and information channels such as performance reports, safety alerts, Toolbox Talks, online portals etc.
- Undertake significant hazard/incident investigations as required utilising appropriate root cause analysis techniques.
- Assist with the resolution of HSE issues and promote consultation and participation from all levels within the company.

**You will be required to demonstrate**:

- A Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety - Essential
- Experience developing and delivering HSE training programs.
- Proficiency in maintaining and reporting on HSE statistical data as required.
- Proven experience reviewing outcomes and completeness of hazard/incident reports and investigation.
- Expertise in providing up-to-date advice, information and interpretation of Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice and Australian Standards associated with business activities.
- Full Australian work rights & Full Australian drivers' licence.
- This is a remote role (WFH) covering Sydney New South Wales*
