**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Strategy and Planning Manager to join the Technology Delivery function in a full-time and permanent capacity. This role will report into the Head of Technology Delivery.

The focus of this role is to provide value through aligning technology initiatives with overall business objectives, guide effective resource allocation, and ensuring technology-related decisions are not made in isolation, balancing risk, value, and cost.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:
As the Portfolio Strategy and Planning Manager your role will be to:

- Contribute to the Technology Strategy development, responsible for the alignment of projects to the Tech strategy, providing strategic direction and guidance to maximise the value of Coles’ Technology assets.
- Oversee, develop, and provide recommendations for the Technology Corporate Plan, including, identification and prioritisation of technology investment to deliver strategically aligned outcomes.
- Enable an enterprise approach to quarterly portfolio planning to ensure that group-wide technology investments and capacity are aligned with strategic priorities.
- Create an executable roadmap identifying key outcomes against the strategy, with a clear understanding of how one initiative impacts another (dependencies), and how this impacts sequencing.
- Baseline and measure progress against the key pillars of our technology strategy and effectively communicating across the enterprise.

**About you and your skills**
- Proven 5+ years’ experience in project / program management or portfolio management roles.
- Worked in an organisation undertaking large scale technology transformation (3-5 years).
- Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, technology and change delivery.
- Proven ability in enterprise prioritisation mechanisms and building strategic roadmaps.
- Proven track record in enterprise governance mechanisms.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches to fit project needs.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent understanding on the generation of Portfolio Scorecards that link to the Technology Strategy Plan.
