Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. About the role

As a Portfolio Change Manager, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing change strategies across a portfolio of highly technical initiatives. You'll lead end-to-end change activities to support the people side of change—covering technology, ways of working, culture, roles, and processes—ensuring safe and effective delivery.

You'll play a key role in maximising user adoption and minimising resistance across priority technology transformations, including areas such as Cyber Security, Core Technology Services, AI, and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and deliver end-to-end change management across multiple concurrent projects within the Technology portfolio.
• Design and execute change strategies that support adoption of new systems, processes, and behaviours.
• Partner with technical stakeholders to deliver change in highly complex environments.
• Support incident management and resolution with appropriate change interventions and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and deliver training content and manage end-user regression.
• Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from senior leaders to operational teams.
• Advocate for project and change management disciplines across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Design creative and practical change interventions that resonate with diverse audiences.

About you and your skills:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in change management across a portfolio of projects, ideally within FMCG or similar industries.
• Proven experience in highly technical environments, working with stakeholders in Cyber, Security, Risk, Infrastructure, and Core Technology Services.
• Strong background in delivering technology transformation programs (e.g., identity platforms, AI, ERP, data platforms, digital transformation).
• Experience in establishing and maturing operating models and Centres of Excellence (e.g., for AI).
• Ability to self-prioritise and manage competing demands in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Flexibility to support incident resolution outside standard hours when required.
• Expertise in designing and executing change interventions including training and stakeholder engagement.
• Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies (e.g., ADKAR), and tools.
• Experience with Digital Adoption Platforms such as WalkMe is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with emotional intelligence and active listening capabilities.
• Strong understanding of project management approaches and ability to align change delivery accordingly.
