**About the role**:
As the Strategy Business Partner
- Commercial Tech, you will support the Merch Systems and Strategy Manager in the development of a coherent and cohesive Commercial Technology Strategy, linked to Corporate Strategy and aligned to our vision and purpose.

You’ll also:

- Support the Commercial leadership team in translating the strategy into a prioritised plan, maintaining an evergreen tech roadmap
- Unearth opportunities to leverage data, automation and AI to drive efficiency, tailored offer and personalisation
- Present findings, projections, and recommended actions to support and guide senior executive decision-making
- Support performance improvement across the business through the provision of internal strategy services
- Manage cross-functional alignment of technology strategy and planning process with other centres of excellence (Supply Chain, Ops, IT, Own Brand, Marketing, and Customer Insights)
- Manage linkages within the roadmap to ensure dependencies are managed and prioritisation and optimisation to ensure seamless sequencing
- Proactively drive internal communication of ongoing technology initiatives, priorities and progress
- Lead multiple cross functional project teams comprising BAU resource to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and that business benefits are realised

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Strategy Business Partner - Commercial Tech ideally with a background in Management Consulting, Corporate or Retail Strategy whether within tech or business teams as well as a background in retail and or FMCG.

You’ll have an optimistic attitude with a strong ability to build relationships, challenge respectfully and bring new perspectives to the table. A good listener, you bring people together to achieve strategic goals and have a flexible and resilient mindset that enables you to pivot as needed and embrace change.

You’ll also need:

- Experience working closely with senior management, ideally in consumer-led clients / businesses
- A breadth of knowledge within retail organisation and business processes is highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and confidence with the ability to deliver exceptional presentations and communications with a clear and concise story
