Hays has partnered with a well-established and respected law firm with a strong presence in the Newcastle region. The team is known for their commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to clients. This role will have a particular focus on commercial and property law.

**Your new role**

Seeking a dedicated and ideally experienced Commercial and Property Paralegal to join this dynamic team. This role will involve providing high-level support to the legal team, assisting with property transactions, commercial contracts, and other related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with property transactions including drafting contracts, conducting property searches, and liaising with clients and other parties.
- Providing general legal administration support in commercial matters, including drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal documents.
- Managing files and maintaining client records.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Tech-savvy, previous experience with legal systems like PEXA.
- Knowledge of or a desire to branch out into commercial and property law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
