HR Manager for leading Chinese organisation based in Sydney CBD (in office role)
**Your new company**
Human Resources Manager role within a global business in the financial services industry, with its headquarters based in China. Please note this is a full time permanent role, it is office based and no formal work from home is offered, however, flexibility is available ad hoc.
**Your new role**
As the HR Manager you will report to one of the Founding Directors who heads up the Australia region, whilst also working in collaboration with a global HR team. Duties will include:
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support the organization's mission and goals;
- Oversee recruitment and retention of employees, ensuring that the company is attracting and retaining top talent;
- Manage employee relations issues, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and effective manner;
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning;
- Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge;
- Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with the company's overall HR strategy;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field;
- 8+ years of experience in HR field and at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role;
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is highly desired;
