Fantastic 12 month opportunity to work with an Engineering organisation who specialises in providing marine platform through-life and in-service support to the Australian Defence sector.
- 12-month fixed term contract (Maternity Leave Cover)
- Australian Citizenship is required
- Tentative start date for mid/late April
- Flexible salary around $70k - 80k + super (depending on experience)
- Location is Pots point - full-time office
**Your new role**
The HR Administrator role would be to manage day-to-day HR administration and coordination. There will also be opportunities for HR project-based work aimed at process & HR system improvements.
- General daily administration of various aspects of Human Resources services
- Employment contracts, onboarding of new staff, training communications, and record management.
- You will work closely with the HR Manager to provide HR assistance as well as supporting the implementation of key projects and maintenance of all Human Resources processes and procedures.
- Maintain appropriate HR records in their HRIS, ELMO.
- Liaise with and assist managers throughout the hiring process
- Support the development and delivery of HR related training materials.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- 1-2 years of experience in HR support roles (HR admin/coordination/assistant).
- HR grad/ post grad degree/ certification
- Fluent communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Experience working on MS Office, HR systems - ELMO
- Go-getter attitude and keen on learning
