About the JCTS
JCTS Joint Colleges Training Services Pty Ltd (JCTS) is a joint venture between the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). JCTS facilitates shared GP training activities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health initiatives, cultural education, mentorship, and registrar housing in remote communities.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role works closely with all regions to coordinate, develop and implement a JCTS communication and marketing strategy promoting the JCTS brand and activities. This role is instrumental in the delivery of communication and marketing solutions, informed by insights, that are central to helping JCTS achieve its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health strategic objectives.
**As our Communications and Marketing Coordinator, you’ll also**:
collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the public profile of JCTS, disseminate communications, and support GP Training.
develop various communications (eDMs, newsletters, web content, social media) and assist with media enquiries.
plan, coordinate, and implement marketing activities, public relations events, and digital content for the JCTS website.
develop, monitor and measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify improvement opportunities, and handle operational and administrative tasks.
Skills & Experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications, with experience in developing communication and marketing plans.
Strong organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage media enquiries and work in digital communication.
Understanding of cultural safety principles and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health perspectives.
Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships, demonstrate initiative, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
