At Thriving Minds Psychology Clinic, we understand that accessing counselling and therapy can feel clinical and anxiety provoking. As such, we aim to do things differently. We take into consideration the client's whole experience. For us, therapy begins BEFORE our clients walk through the front door of our clinic. It starts from the first point of contact (this is YOU), when our clients take the first step to seek the support they deserve
You love working in and having fun with an amazing team of Psychologists but also love working independently and are good at getting things done You like to take initiative, use your imagination and common sense whilst multi-tasking like an organised pro You have meticulous attention to detail, ability to work efficiently, and excellent documentation and communication skills (or an ability to learn quickly with the fantastic training you will receive). You love to develop and grow and be a part of an amazing team of Psychologists.
Thriving Minds Psychology Clinic is an established private psychology practice located in in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast. We have highly skilled and compassionate therapists who work both in-house and via telehealth, providing counselling and psychology services for adults, couples, children, teens and families.
**REQUIREMENTS, SUPPORT AND TRAINING**
What we need from YOU
Necessary:
- Prior experience in an allied health role/ medical receptionist role (preference will be given to those with experience in a Psychology practice)
- Excellent verbal and written language skills
- Efficiency & Time management skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills to put clients at ease and liaise with stakeholders including our psychology team, referrers and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
- Take INITIATIVE
- Having the RIGHT attitude
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with using Power diary or similar CRM
- Knowledge of Psychology services, ethics and codes of conduct
- Knowledge of Medicare
- Knowledge of ASANA or ability to learn
The successful applicant will be provided with all necessary training and support and also receive ongoing support/ training. This position will report directly to the Director.
