Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, as Health Strategy Manager you will support the delivery of a 5 year health strategy and annual plans for the Health and Branch Network, aligned to the delivery of the overall GMHBA strategy and business plan. You will develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive the growth and performance of the Health and Branch Network, and to position the network for long-term success. You will conduct data analysis and market assessments to inform and evaluate new business opportunities.

This will include analysis of the competitive landscape and regulatory changes in the health care industry to maintain competitive advantage and develop a deep understanding of local members and customers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing performance markets to monitor performance and track performance of strategic initiatives. You will engage across the business to understand future state and create an integrated health insurance and health care product offering that produces a superior value proposition locally. Additionally, you will develop and present regular reporting to executive leaders across the business the progress of strategic initiatives.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Strategy or PMO leader with experience developing and delivering a end-to-end health strategy ideally in an allied health, public or private hospital organization. You will have developed strategic plans focused on driving growth across multisite propositions. You will demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare industry and regulatory requirements, including an understanding of private hospitals, health funds and especially allied health models, issues and practices. Experience in mergers and acquisitions and greenfield operations would be highly desirable.

You will be a conceptual thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. You are known for your ability to effectively engage and influence across an organization and confidently present complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders including the executive level. Importantly, you will possess a strong business acumen, commercial and financial analysis skills to assess and evaluate business opportunities.
