**About the role**
We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our Sunnymeade Park team. As a member of the finance team, you will support the end-to-end revenue function for Sunnymeade Park Aged Care and Retirement Village.
**KEY ACTIVITIES**
- Driving the transactions processing functions ensuring all transactional processing is completed
- Ensure the customer admission and departure processes are completed in a timely manner
- Provide support for the internal audit and external audit functions
- Reconcile customer fee accounts and prepare refunds for payment.
- Process customer receipts daily in accordance with procedures.
- Prepare and process billing files ensuring monthly deadlines are met.
- Assist in processing all customer statements accurately and ensuring all statements are delivered on time.
- Process customer direct debits
- Prepare claims and investigate any discrepancies
- Process admissions, exits and claims in the aged care provider portal.
- Reconciliation of claims
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in account management functions and ability to manage large volumes of financial data for a growing organisation working with multiple ledgers.
- Experience in end-or-month financial processes
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience with a computerised financial accounting system including fast accurate keyboard skills and preferably advanced spread sheeting skills
- Aged care industry experiences highly desired.
- NDIS Workers Screening Card (paid) is a mandatory requirement
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain this certificate
